Suprabhat is a BE, Electronics & Communications Engineering with 30 years of experience in R&D, Post-sales Support, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Business Development, Business and Technical Consulting, Coaching and Mentoring.
Suprabhat had served in large domestic and MNCs for 25 years, the final being Advisor to Xperio Communication – a cloud based virtual service provider.
Prior to that, he served at Cisco Systems for 12 years in different functions and in varied leadership roles, last being the Vice President – Sales for India and SAARC countries.
He started Cisco’s operations in Kolkata overseeing the entire business in Eastern India and SAARC countries across Service Provider, Enterprise and Commercial line of businesses. He scaled the revenue six times in six years and developed Sri Lanka and Bangladesh into important markets for Cisco. He also led the Business Development for India Enterprise and was instrumental in implementing strategies and initiatives for growth in the Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, Retail, Infrastructure and Real Estate industry verticals across the country.
He also successfully established and led consulting for Cisco’s Smart+Connected Communities (Smart Cities) and Physical Safety & Security Solutions in India and SAARC countries.
Before joining Cisco, Suprabhat had spent 8 years in various capacities in HCL Infosystems including starting the networking business across India. He started his career with CDIL in R&D in their Telematics division in 1988.
